It's summer and hot! Time to get busy and get this thing done. :)

Here's the cabinet underneath the bed. Betcha can't guess what's inside.

Pull this out and you're ready to go!

Got the heat shield finished

for the gas light

Wheel bearings packed, and fender wells tidied up. Almost ready to roll!
Now that's a classy picture there.



The new skin is sitting in my garage waiting to be put on. Next weekend's project. Stay tuned.

Got the Bed Ready

 

 Worked almost 10 hours just building the bed!

And that's with lots of help with my better half. :)

Man that is some tight spaces, but got the sink drain hooked up and working!

I don't have a grey water tank, so here you hook up a hose and drain into a portable tank.

Wiring Up

Still some tidying up to do, like cutting off all those zip tie ends.

Main entrance into the electrical panel where the inverter is located

All wiring runs to the inside  and through conduit for easier access

This will be covered by a finished kick board.

Getting A Wee Bit Closer

Got the framing all done.....finally!!

I had a good friend with a band saw that cut all my curved 2x pieces for me.

Man did that save a lot of time! :)

Looking at the top you can see I put two pieces of 1 1/2" aluminum tubing in for extra support.
That should hold up my future air conditioner. Yeah baby!!

The insulation is in (1 1/2" Styrofoam and the tops covered with Tyvek.

Should keep it nice and toasty inside.

To end the day, got the gas plumbing in for the refrigerator and the gas lantern. Finish up the stove plumbing and we'll be "Cookin with Crisco"!
